We hear you… but here’s the tea (or milk 😉):
✨ Perfect milk temp for coffee: 140–150°F (60–65°C)
This is the sweet spot where milk is:
• naturally sweet
• creamy and smooth
• happy with espresso
🔥 What happens when milk gets extra hot (160°F+):
• milk sugars burn → bitterness 😬
• foam collapses
• latte loses its silky texture
• baristas cry a little inside (lovingly)
We can make it hotter if you ask — but just know your coffee might lose some of its magic ✨
Pro tip: if you love hot coffee but still want great flavor, ask for “hot but not burned” 😉

To get to Navy Pier in New York, you can take the subway to the 34th St-Penn Station and transfer to the A, C, or E train towards Downtown. Get off at the 42nd St-Port Authority Bus Terminal and transfer to the M42 bus towards United Nations. Get off at the last stop, which is Navy Pier.
If you prefer driving, take I-495 W/Long Island Expy and continue onto Queens Midtown Tunnel. Take the Downtown exit and merge onto E 34th St. Turn left onto FDR Dr and continue straight until you reach Navy Pier. There is parking available at Navy Pier for a fee.
Please note that these directions are not specific to Americano Cafe but will lead you to Navy Pier where it is located.
