Brother Jimmy's was a barbecue restaurant located on E 16th Street that also served as a live music venue. Featuring different bands each week, spanning across different genres like country, honky-tonk, roots rock, and blues, this place became known as New York's premier Honkey tonk roadhouse. It was a perfect place for friends to gather over some good southern BBQ and cold beer while enjoying the musical traditions of the great American Rockabilly South. However, Brother Jimmy's is now permanently closed.
