Thank you for 22 years! Since we first opened our doors on 27th Street in 2002, Blue Smoke has been honored to serve up more than just barbecue—we created a community. In 2003, we launched the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party, bringing pitmasters and fans together from across America to our own turf. Over the years, we proudly staked our claim in FiDi, Saratoga Springs, JFK Airport, and Citi Field, blazing the trail for New York’s barbecue scene.
From rousing nights at Jazz Standard and the Blue Smoke Bakeshop to pitmaster takeovers and Rib King wins, the past 22 years have been filled with memories we’ll always cherish. And we’re especially proud of the hundreds of Blue Smoke alumni who’ve carried the flame—opening barbecue restaurants of their own and continuing the legacy in cities across the country.
Though our doors have closed, the spirit of Blue Smoke lives on. We'll see you again...somewhere, sometime.
