One of our new partner took all the money in the bank, locked restaurant and left. We will reopen another location in New York in the coming year. Thank you for your support for so many years. This location suffered covid , theft and I lost my mom there. Too much memory to go back in for the third time, but my restaurant passion is not dead. I love all who supported me for the pass year and I will open again and our dumpling will be bigger and better! It will be a new journey, we will keep u posted β€οΈ

What people say
Drunken Dumpling is a dim sum restaurant that offers an authentic dining experience in the heart of East Village, New York. The owner, Yuan Lee, has created a menu that pays homage to traditional Xiao Long Bao and Jiaozi dishes while incorporating locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. This farm-to-dumpling approach ensures that every dish is fresh and bursting with flavor.
One of the standout dishes at Drunken Dumpling is the XL XLB - an extra-large pork dumpling filled with homemade chicken, pork, and vegetable soup broth and flavored by a seafood medley. This unique dish is a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant.
What sets Drunken Dumpling apart from other dim sum restaurants is its family affair approach. Lee's mother, Qihua Guan, serves as Executive Chef and brings her expertise to every dish on the menu. The result is a dining experience that feels like you're eating in someone's home rather than a restaurant.
Overall, Drunken Dumpling offers an exceptional dining experience for anyone looking for authentic dim sum dishes made with fresh ingredients. If you're in the East Village area of New York City, be sure to stop by this gem on 1st Avenue.
