Jean-Georges says we have some of the best bread in New York City. đ Just a reminder as we talk about this weekâs BrĂžd of the Week: the Country Loaf. đŸ
Itâs a rustic, high-hydration sourdough baked with a blend of rye and whole grain flours, then rolled in rye chops (also known as cracked rye) for extra crunch. Itâs an all-purpose sourdough that pairs well with just about anything youâd want alongside a slice. đ Like all of our sourdough breads, itâs naturally leavened with our 100-year-old starter from Denmark.

For the mother in your life. đ
Our Motherâs Day Strawberry Tarts are back in the bakery this weekend - available in both large and small sizes. We layer fresh strawberries over vanilla cream, on top of a nutty marzipan shortcrust base dipped in dark chocolate and finished with chopped almonds. Itâs a favorite in Denmark for good reason.
Stop by the bakery this weekend for a slice of something sweet for mom!

Guests always ask, âWhat should I try first?â
We always say the Cinnamon Social.
In Denmark, this signature bake is called kanelstang - itâs a soft, braided pastry dough layered with vanilla custard and brown sugar cinnamon paste. Itâs our unique version of a cinnamon roll.
Theyâre especially perfect for slow, rainy Sundays.

Meet our new multi-grain cookie. đȘđȘđȘ
Made with the same whole grains we use in our breads, for deeper flavor and a little more goodness in every bite. Alongside our Rye Chocolate Chip, weâre now baking up a new favorite: a chewy multi-grain cookie with black currants, rolled oats, flax, pumpkin, and sunflower seeds.
We want you to fall in love with them like we have. Enjoy both cookies for $2 all April, while supplies last.
