Fort Hamilton Club Pool reopens 17 July 2026, returning to normal operations, weather permitting.

We hope you’re having a cozy and warm morning today despite the cold weather.
Due to the current inclement weather, we sincerely apologize, but the pool will remain closed today, Saturday, May 23, 2026, and tomorrow, Sunday, May 24, 2026. The chilly temperatures and unsafe swimming conditions make it impossible for us to open as planned.
We’re just as disappointed as you are, we know many of you were excited for opening weekend and ready to kick off the 2026 season.
But the celebration isn’t canceled… it’s simply moving indoors. Our restaurant and bar will be open from 11 AM to 5 PM today and tomorrow.
Sunday Brunch: 11 AM – 2 PM
Regular restaurant & bar service continues until 5 PM.
Come enjoy great food, good company, and a warm place to escape the low temperatures and rain.

Due to ongoing snow‑removal operations, Fort Hamilton Army Base will remain CLOSED on Tuesday, February 24.
During this closure, all on‑post events and services will be paused, with the exception of those directly supporting life, health, and safety.
Beginning at 6:00 AM, we kindly ask all community members to avoid driving on the installation unless operating an essential vehicle. This will allow our crews to continue clearing the roads as safely and efficiently as possible.
If a full power outage occurs on the installation, the Fort Hamilton Community Club will serve as the Emergency Family Assistance Center to support our community’s needs.
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and understanding as we work to keep everyone safe. If additional updates become available, we will share them promptly.

To get to Sterling Drive in New York, you can take the subway and get off at either the Bay Ridge Avenue or 86th Street stations. From there, you can walk to Sterling Drive.
If you prefer to drive, take the Belt Parkway and exit at 92nd Street. Head towards Fort Hamilton Parkway and make a left onto Sterling Drive. There is limited street parking available.
Alternatively, you can park at Fort Hamilton Army Base for a fee and walk to Sterling Drive. Be sure to bring valid identification as this is a military installation.
