Eddie's Sweet Shop Eddie's Sweet Shop is a century-old ice cream parlor located on Metropolitan Avenue in Queens. Though the shop has undergone temporary closures throughout 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19, it is now open for takeout only Wednesday-Sunday from 3pm-9pm. Customers rave about the fresh, homemade ice cream and vintage soda fountain atmosphere at Eddie's Sweet Shop.

To get to Metropolitan Avenue in New York, you can take the subway and get off at the Metropolitan Avenue station. From there, you can walk about five blocks east to reach your destination.

Alternatively, if you are driving, you can take the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE) and exit onto Metropolitan Ave. There is street parking available nearby but it could be limited.
