To reach New York Plz in New York, there are several options both for public transport and driving.
For Public Transport:
- Take the L subway line to 14th Street Station and walk south down Union Square East until you reach 4th Ave. Turn left onto 4th Ave and continue straight until you reach the plaza on your right.
- Alternatively, take the R subway line to 8th Street Station and walk east along Waverly Place until you reach University Place. Turn right onto University Place, then turn left onto E 14th St. Finally, turn right onto 4th Ave and continue walking until you reach the plaza on your right.
For Driving/Parking:
- If driving from uptown Manhattan, take the FDR Drive southbound and exit at Exit 7 towards E Houston St. Keep left and merge onto Essex St, then turn left onto Delancey St. Finally, make a right onto Bowery and a left onto E 4th St. You'll find parking options nearby.
- If coming from downtown Manhattan via West Side Highway, take the Battery Tunnel/E Shore Fwy/Hamilton Avenue exit towards I-478/BKLYN-QNS Expressway. Merge onto Hamilton Ave/West St/New York State Reference Route 907L, then continue straight to stay on Hamilton Ave/West St/New York State Reference Route 907L until it becomes Canal Street/6th Avenue/Franklin D. Roosevelt East River Drive Southbound slip road. Continue straight along Centre Street before turning left on Broome street which leads directly to New York Plz where parking is available.
Once you arrive at New York Plz, both fast food restaurant & salad bar or health food restaurant can be found within the vicinity – simply look for their signage or seek directions from locals if need be!
