Faustino Gran Reserva, Blanco Rioja
This blend of Viura and Chardonnay is giving floral and juicy fruits. Think ripe mangoes and peaches. Notes of wood bring this well rounded wine together, Aged in french and american oak.
Pairs perfectly with fish, seafood and light meat dishes. A few we recommend pairing with are Jamon Iberico, Razors Clams, Fluke Crudo, Sardinas, Fideos and Albondigas!

What people say
Spanish restaurants are known for their vibrant and flavorful dishes that showcase the best of Spanish cuisine. Casa Mono, a Spanish restaurant located in New York, is no exception. The restaurant has been awarded three stars by The New York Times in 2015 and a Michelin Star in 2009 (and every year since), making it one of the most sought-after dining destinations in the city.
Casa Mono's Executive Chef Andy Nusser, who grew up in the fishing village of Cadaqués along Spain’s Costa Brava, has reimagined classic dishes with an affinity for adventurous proteins like sweetbreads, cockscombs, and pig’s feet. The menu features a variety of inventive and robust "raciones", traditional appetizers that are perfect for sharing with friends and family.
Dishes such as Razor Clams a la Plancha and Bone Marrow with Tomato Jam and Pickled Sandía have garnered a cult following among foodies and critics alike. The intimate space comfortably holds 13 tables and 15 bar seats, creating an intimate atmosphere that is perfect for date nights or special occasions.
The interior of Casa Mono is adorned with mosaic tile floors, while the walls are lined with bottles of sherries and wines. The exterior walls are floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto Irving Place, providing diners with stunning views of the city.
Casa Mono shares a wine list of nearly 600 wines with its sister restaurant Bar Jamón, representing a thoughtful and thorough selection of Spain’s rapidly expanding world of wine. The excellence of the wine list has time and again been recognized by Wine Enthusiast, Wine Spectator, and the Spanish wine magazine Sibaritas.
Overall, Casa Mono is an exceptional Spanish restaurant that offers an unforgettable dining experience. With its inventive dishes, intimate atmosphere, and excellent wine selection, it's no wonder why this restaurant has become one of New York's most beloved dining destinations.
