For the past two years(on and off), Don has been gliding from the kitchen to your table with ease and grace. Whether itâs sizzling plates or fresh lumpia, he delivers every dish with a smile thatâs just as warm as the food.
Thank you for all the help in the kitchen!

Chesca may be new to our team, but sheâs mastered the ropes in record time. In less than a year, sheâs serving with skill, grace, and a smile that keeps guests coming back. Before joining us, she was a professional rower and EMT back home, so whether itâs on the water, in an emergency, or in our dining room, Chesca knows how to move fast and get things done! Just under a year with us and she already feels like fam, thank you Che!!

Oliver aka Abet, our legendary server whoâs been keeping the good vibes (and plates) flowing for 15 years! Known for his killer sense of humor and even better cooking skills, heâs the kind of guy whoâll serve you with a smile and sneak in a joke thatâll make you laugh mid-bite. He brings heart, hustle, and a whole lot of flavor to everything he does, no wonder heâs such a great lolo to all his apo!
Dine in and hang out with him! He might even show you some dance moves!

For 20 years, Olga has been Ihawanâs kusina queen behind the scenes. Sheâs the magic hands behind our popular lumpiang Shanghai, calamari, lumpia gulay, and the avocado shake that makes you say âay, sarap!â Every day, she chops, mixes, rolls, wraps, and preps with heart! No shortcuts, trust us because we donât have the machines, just hand made with love and a dash of tsismis to keep the kitchen lively. You may not see her, but she can be loud and sassy just like her flavors!
If you can catch her on the floor, say Hi!!
We appreciate you Olgita!

Meet Chef Sidro, he has been with us for 15 years and letâs just say IHAWAN wouldnât be Ihawan without him. As our head chef, heâs the boss of the kitchen, the kaldero king, and the master of flavor. Rain or shine, youâll find him working hard, moving fast, and still somehow looking fresh because Sidro doesnât just bring heat to the stove, he brings it to his outfits too. From his matching aprons to his signature shades, laging may porma si kuya.
Now donât be fooled, he may be loud, serious, and sometimes nakakataranta, but trust us, he means well. Thatâs just how he shows his love (and makes sure the food comes out perfect every time). Heâs got that classic Filipino work ethic: tahimik ang puso, maingay lang sa kitchen. Loyal, dedicated, and always ready for a challenge. Salamat, Sidro, for 15 amazing yearsâyouâre not just our chef, youâre family.

Meet Joel, Our Kitchen Hero from Pampanga!
For the past 12 years, Joel has been a vital part of the Ihawan family. Joel brings his strong work ethic and quiet dedication to everything he does. Whether heâs deep frying to perfection or doing the daily grocery runs for the restaurant, he handles every task with heart and humility. Behind the scenes but always dependable, Joel helps keep Ihawan running smoothly every single day. Weâre lucky to have him, and prouder still to call him family.
Scream out a âHello!â To him when passing the kitchen on your way in or out and leave him some love in the comments!

The one and only Gerome! Loyal and true to IHAWAN for 10 years, our superstar waiter whoâs been serving smiles at our restaurant for the past 10 years! Known for his warm personality, quick wit, and top-tier service, he makes every guest feel like family. We joke heâs the actual son of the owner, thatâs how close he is to us all! When heâs not making your dining experience unforgettable, heâs behind the lens, capturing the world through his love for photography. A true gem on our team! We love you Ge!
Please show him some love here or in person!

Luis a.k.a. Betas! Our infamous butcher! He has been with us for 24 years! From ordering the meats and fishes, to cleaning, slicing, marinating, deboning, & seasoning it all, heâs also putting that pork on the stick for you! He works closely with Pito to make sure that flavor hits and stays consistent. He also went to photography school while working at IHAWAN and does that on the side. He loves his cameras! Also, he loves being in front of them, can you tell?! GuapitoâŚ

Arnel, has been with IHAWAN for 13 years!
Assistant chef and sometimes grill man. Youâll always see a smile on his face and everyone knows heâs the easy going guy who never takes things seriously. He loves sports and a good hang out, so next time, ask him what team he thinks will win!
Special to celebrate 30 years with you, Arnel!
