What people say
Peruvian cuisine is known for its bold flavors, unique ingredients, and diverse influences. Llama Inn on Withers Street in New York City embodies all of these qualities and more. This Peruvian restaurant has gained a reputation for its exceptional food, creative cocktails, and inviting atmosphere.
One of the standout dishes at Llama Inn is their ceviche. The crispy squid and fried yuca add a delightful crunch to the creamy leche de tigre. Another must-try dish is the oysters a la chalaca, which are served with Peruvian corn, habanero, and cilantro. These dishes showcase the restaurant's commitment to using fresh ingredients and traditional techniques.
In addition to their delicious food, Llama Inn also offers an impressive selection of cocktails. The La Santa cocktail is a refreshing twist on a daiquiri with white rum, palo santo, honey, lima, and bee pollen. For something more unique, try the Papi Don't Preach cocktail made with Pisco quebranta, gooseberries, ginger, lime, curcuma and soda.
Llama Inn's rooftop dining area is another highlight of this restaurant. With only five tables and four bar seats available for reservation each night, it offers an intimate setting with stunning views of the city skyline.
Overall, Llama Inn is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to experience authentic Peruvian cuisine in New York City. From their flavorful ceviche to their creative cocktails and rooftop dining area - this restaurant has something for everyone!
