This isn’t just a third place.
It’s a movement.

Bushwick Grind Cafe at 63 Whipple Street - BK - has been blessed to serve the Bushwick community with healthier food and beverages and create a space filled with love and connection.
Over the years, we’ve been honored with many awards that truly reflect the hard work and dedication poured into this cafe By A WORLD CLASS TEAM! From being named the 2018 Brooklyn Cornerstone Business of the Year, winning the 1010 Wins Small Business Pitch Competition, and receiving the 2022 HEINZ Black Kitchen Cast Iron Trophy, to being Goldman Sachs 10KSB Alumni, and New York MWBE Certified, we’ve proudly served this community in so many ways. We’ve even been featured on NBC with Stephen Rule, News 12, and BBC World News, among others.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this journey has been the 2Fish5Loaves Community Fridge, thanks Brian 💚

Nine years ago today, we opened our doors with a dream to create a space where community and coffee blend perfectly together. Today, as we celebrate this milestone, we are filled with gratitude and love for every one of you who has been part of our journey.💓

To get to the café located on Whipple Street in Brooklyn, take the J/M/Z subway lines to Flushing Avenue station. From there, walk south on Broadway and turn left onto Whipple Street. The café is a few blocks down on the right-hand side.
If driving, take the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (BQE) to exit 31 towards Flushing Avenue. Turn left onto Flushing Avenue and then left again onto Broadway. Finally, turn left onto Whipple Street where you can park your vehicle.
Please note that parking in this area may be limited and subject to restrictions, so it is advisable to check for parking regulations prior to arriving.

Bushwick Grind Cafe is a coffee lover's paradise located in the heart of Bushwick, New York. Founded by Kymme Williams and her husband Raymond, this cafe was created with the aim of providing the local community with a welcoming atmosphere and superb coffee. The shop officially opened its doors in April 2015, after the founders spent a year mastering the art of coffee-making at Portland's American Barista Coffee School.
At Bushwick Grind Cafe, they take pride in serving only the highest-quality coffee made with beans from Counter Culture Coffee Roasters. They ensure that their partners are paid a fair wage and use a 50-gallon filtration system to match the water quality to that of the beans. Their baked goods are made fresh every morning, and they offer a rotating selection of breakfast and lunch items, including several vegetarian and vegan options. Their dairy products and honey are sourced from upstate New York farms, making their menu health-conscious with gluten-free options available.
The cafe has become an integral part of the Bushwick community, serving as an outpost for locals to come together over fantastic hand-crafted coffee.
