Dear Valued Customers,
It is with mixed emotions that we inform you of the upcoming closure of Sushi Ginza Onodera New York on August 19, 2023.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support over the years. We are deeply honored to have had the opportunity to serve you and the wonderful community of New York for a fulfilling seven years.

While this chapter is closing, we also want to inform you that we are actively exploring the possibility of relocating and continuing our services in the future. We will provide updates as we make progress.

With the motto of “Ginza to the World”, together with our Master Chef Sakagami, Sushi Ginza Onodera New York team has always strived to create a place to be truly enjoyed by our guests, not only from New York but from all over the world.

Since our opening in May 2016, we have shared countless memories together and are proud to have become one of the icons of the sushi scene in New York and for being recognized for our signature akazu rice with the brown hue, and the ginger-slicing performances by our sushi chefs, just to mention a few examples. While we brought an upscale Edomae omakase sushi experience straight from Ginza, we hope we were always a welcoming establishment to you, and have served you with a friendly and approachable atmosphere.

Please also allow us to express our heartfelt appreciation for our exceptional team from past to present, who have played an integral role in making Sushi Ginza Onodera New York truly exceptional. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented group of individuals, and we owe them a tremendous debt of gratitude.

Public Transport:
- Take any subway line that stops at Grand Central Station.
- From there, transfer to the 7 train and take it to its last stop at Times Square-42 Street.
- Walk towards 5th Avenue for about 10 minutes.

Driving/Parking:
- Take the FDR Drive and exit at E 42nd St.
- Turn left onto E 42nd St and continue until you reach Park Ave.
- Turn right onto Park Ave and then make a left turn onto E 53rd St.
- Make another left turn onto Madison Ave, and finally turn right onto E 52nd St.
- The sushi restaurant is located on this street. There are several parking garages nearby.
