Join us on Sat 9/26 from 4-7pm for a very important fundraiser we’re doing with our dear friend Nicole Ohr
One of our regular customers, Nicole Mare, producer of Dance Astoria, was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus at the age of 7 due to a brain tumor. She has undergone 11 brain surgeries over a span of 25 years and is currently 8 years brain surgery-free. It’s difficult, though, living every day not sure when your next brain surgery will be. Raising money for Hydrocephalus would help fund research to hopefully one day find a cure.
Hydrocephalus Fundraiser:
On Sat 9/26 from 4-7pm we’ll hold a fundraiser for Hydrocephalus. $1 from each drink purchased will be donated to the Hydrocephalus Association. Hydrocephalus is a medical condition where fluid builds up in the brain, causing it to swell up against the skull. There is no cure for hydrocephalus, only brain surgery. Our goal is to not only raise money to fund more research, but also raise awareness.

To get to Ditmars Boulevard in New York, there are a few options for public transport. One option is to take the N or W train to Ditmars Boulevard station and walk towards the direction of 31st Street. Another option is to take the M60-SBS bus that stops at Ditmars Boulevard and 31st Street.
If driving, exit from Grand Central Parkway onto 31st Street and drive towards Ditmars Boulevard. There is street parking available nearby but it can be limited during peak hours.
Upon arrival, visitors will find a cheese shop and beer bar offering a variety of cheeses and craft beers for purchase. Additionally, there is a restaurant serving food that pairs well with their selection of cheeses and beers.
