Italy isn't the only Mediterranean country with a strong pasta heritage. In Turkey, every home cook knows how to make Erişte, a walnut pasta traditionally prepared in the colder months.

At Leyla, we continue this tradition with our own version of Erişte, tossed with small cubes of lamb, walnuts, sumac, cumin, and a nutty brown butter labneh sauce.

If you've never had homemade hummus, you're missing out.

Our hummus is softer, tastier, and more nutrient-rich than anything you've had before. And our special beetroot salsa and pickled za’atar is the 'cherry' on top.

Grab some fresh bread and prepare to dig in.

Craving something crispy, savory, and packed to the brim with flavor? Our Lahmacun might just be for you.

It's often called "Turkish Pizza", but we think it's in a category all its own. And once you try it, you won't want to stop.

"Slow-cooked lamb shank so tender it falls apart at the touch of a fork, served over a rich porcini and orzo risotto that’s earthy, comforting, and deeply satisfying."

We appreciate all the love for our Lamb Shank! It's an honor to share this dish with the UWS community we call home.

Don't forget a little something sweet after dinner...

And if you want to experience dessert the traditional way, try our Turkish-style rice pudding. With a caramelized shell on top and a gooey layer underneath, it's heaven in every bite.

Muhammara is a quintessential Middle Eastern mezze you'll find served around many kitchen tables, but it wasn't always that way.

Originally created in Syria, this roasted red pepper dip was reserved for royalty because of the ingredients required to make it: pomegranate molasses, walnuts, red pepper paste, and olive oil.

Today, you can enjoy this savory, sweet, and slightly smoky spread with fresh bread right here at Leyla.
