To get to 9th Avenue in New York, you can take the A, C or E subway lines and get off at the 34th Street - Penn Station stop. Alternatively, you could take a bus that goes along 9th Avenue.

If driving, there are several parking garages in the area, including one on West 35th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. However, street parking is limited and often difficult to find.
