La Cantine La Cantine is a breakfast & brunch restaurant and coffee shop located on Street Nicholas Avenue. Serving breakfast, lunch, coffee and snacks, this luncheonette also offers small plates, beer & wine during Sunsets hours from Thursday to Saturday. With homemade butter and bread, their Herb & sea salt sourdough focaccia is not to be missed. One can try the dessert special vanilla sheet cake with poached peach marmalade and sesame crème anglaise or the Sweet Jar consisting of sweet corn pudding, peach whipped cream, shortbread cookie crumbs, crème anglaise and lemon verbena peach jam.

We first met about 3 years ago, a frequent customer who one day dropped off home made butter and bread for us to enjoy. We watched her build her own bakery , drive hours away to go get the best grain to mill herself. We patiently waited until the bakery was set up, construction was over, permits, staffing, etc… so we could get finally get our first delivery. We’re so proud to serve during our Sunsets hours and a couple days a week for day time with the incredible Herb & sea salt sourdough focaccia. is a true genius and gem we are so happy to call a friend ❤️ Today we have 2 specials on Nora’s focaccia.
But also run to to try all the other incredible goodies Nora makes!

So it’s happening! After over 3 years of being the cutlet and banana bread corner cafe, La Cantine will open its evening doors for Sunsets 🌅
Sunsets is 4 hours of natural wines, fresh beers and small plates in the shape of a tiny food menu, 3 wines, 2 beers and a small team pouring and serving you from 6PM to 10PM Thursdays to Saturdays.
Nothing crazy or spectacular, expect simplicity and good vibes, a place you can bring a friend, a date, or a book and hang out with us after work or before your dinner reservations, drink a glass of wine picked by our favorite neighbor Starr Wines & Spirits] and nibble on some small plates made of love for simple food, childhood memories and a lot of fun.
No reservation, no host, Paris style service, you see a table you sit, we see you and we take care of you.

Sunsets would not be able to exist without you, we appreciate your love and support. We’ve been working on this for some time, and we are so excited to watch Sunsets with you!

**Notes: no cutlets! Maybe crispy potatoes… no standing outside while drinking, table service only, no take out, no dancing (even though it would be so fun), no screaming, we love our neighbors and we respect our peaceful corner, this is going to be cute quiet and very chill.
Day time hours will then be 9AM to 5:30PM Sunday through Wednesday and 9AM to 4PM Thursday through Saturday.
