After reading many reviews we tried out adels halal food cart in New York. It was definately tastier than halal guys. We got a mixed platter on rice. The chicken and lamb were both marinated and full of flavour whereas halal guys do not have much flavour on the meats itself. This was a huge portion packed with flavour and the sauces were mouthwatering.

We had a great time earlier this week exploring street food of the Financial District with John and Johno, tour leaders from Peru. They loved the falafel from — thanks to Ziyad (pictured) and Tito for doing an amazing job as always! Adel’s #1 Halal can be found on Front St and Maiden Lane and at 200 West St. Adel’s not only sells the best falafel (in our opinion) in the city, they are the 2017 People’s Choice champions.

After Googling the best falafel in NYC we ended up in the financial district and found Wall St. Our stomach literally took us on an adventure!

Throwback to last year! On September 16, 2017 our cart was a Vendy Award Finalist. We walked away that day with the People’s Choice Award. This was definitely the greatest experience for Adel and his decades of hard work in this country 🇪🇬🇺🇸🏆
