In a special preview for the 2023 season, we’ll be joined by of the soulful skin-contact wine and our very own chef on the grill!
The Paraschos family’s Greek roots and unique location on the border make them true polyglots. They speak Greek with their father, Italian between themselves, Slovene with their workers, and English with most of their clients. We are excited to have Jannis Paraschos in our space pouring his wine in reminiscence to the cultural melting pot of New York City but also a commentary to the tradition!

Located on Dekalb Avenue in Brooklyn, this Latin American restaurant can be accessed by both public transport and driving.
Public Transport:
Take the L train to Morgan Ave Station. From there, it is a 10-minute walk west towards Dekalb Avenue. Alternatively, take the B38 bus to the intersection of Wyckoff Avenue and Dekalb Avenue, from where it is a short 3-minute walk southeast towards Colonia Verde.
Driving/Parking:
Drive along I-278 W towards Brooklyn and take exit 31 (Wythe Ave/Kent Ave). Continue onto Withers St before taking a right turn onto Graham Ave. Then turn left on McKibbin Street and follow it until you reach St Nicholas Street. Make a left onto Dekalb Avenue and continue until you see Colonia Verde on your right-hand side. Parking is available along the street or at nearby parking garages for a fee.
