Story o’ the day

this is Janet Reno the first and longest serving Attorney General of the United States of America

and I don’t wanna hear about the nut job with all the people holed up and she killed them all and it was a mistake and all that s**t
I don’t wanna hear about it. This is my story.

in the 1980s I went out with this Dutch girl for a month or so maybe two and then we became friends and we’ve been friends for decades she’s upstate. I don’t see her much but we’re still pals.
today I went to her art exhibit, and we caught up with each other for a little while
as I walked her to the train. She reminded me that I got her her green card
In a word I was astounded and of course I didn’t remember
I thanked her for coming in the country legally and could tell that she was on the lefty Democratic side because she made a face and I said really! my grandparents came to Ellis Island signed up paperwork you came in you worked you got a work visa and then you got a green card and that’s where I found out how

first of all she had been awaiting years for her green card Yes!

I had a friend named Ed ed’s wife was the niece of Janet Reno. My lady friend was waiting for her green card. Ed and I somehow got Janet Reno to rush along her green card. I’m a great fu***ng guy!!!

The Colonel… Born in Chicago, 100 years ago yesterday, September 3, 1925. Marine Richard Hill said it best when citing the Marine Corps Hymn: “If the Army and The Navy ever look on Heaven’s scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines!” Happy Birthday Dad! Semper Fi!

Let me congratulate all my friends and their kids who were killing it in college & high school.

JAKE got straight A’s in the Marine Corps

the Sergeant Major, who is the highest enlisted person in the Marine Corps outside of the Sergeant major of the Marine Corps,

he only answers to the commandant (sounds like hogan’s heroes doesn’t it!)
who I believe is a four star general, but anyway, the sergeant major decided JAKE gave great answers to questions thrown out and he gave him these two coins and then JAKE went to the gym and started becoming an animal…
