Good night and good bye to our sweet home on 46th road in LIC. I will cherish the memories of busy brunches, ‘s Spook-a-Rama night, Chamber Music evenings, watching infants grow into toddlers, hosting parties, as well as sharing in the daily lives of our community!
Thanks a mil to those delivery orders big and small and to much appreciation to all who have delighted in trying something new like the dirty lemonade, our seasonal happy bowls and fancy-pants grilled cheeses😜! For now we will continue to sell our loose leaf teas online and engage in some collaborations with other creatives. So stay tuned! Cheers, K

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our closing on Wednesday, May 3. After 18 years, 2 locations and more green bobs and breakfast burritos than we can count the time has come for us to hang up our aprons. It has been an honor to serve our blossoming community of Hunters Point in Long Island City as well as the ever changing masses of Queens and NYC!
We are selling our space to a family-owned and operated coffee business. It is our hope that they will serve you well and continue our goal of offering a “third place” to each of you.
Sincere appreciation to our devoted former and current staff - their hard work and input over the years has made it all fun. Immeasurable gratitude goes out to our children, family and extended family for their love and support (and for working shifts behind the counter and in the kitchen)! And to our wonderful patrons, especially the regulars whom have become our Communitea family/dear friends we will greatly miss you and your families. ~Cheers, Kafia and Lloyd

This chai-like concoction is essential in keeping those winter blues away and we think everyone needs a little !
