🍝 Meet Malloreddus, one of Sardinia’s most iconic pasta shapes.
Often called Sardinian gnocchetti, these small, ridged shells are handmade to perfectly hold rich, flavorful sauces. Their rustic texture and traditional shape have made them a staple of Sardinian cuisine for generations.

🥔 Have you ever heard the saying "Thursday is for Gnocchi"?
This expression originates from the saying "Giovedì gnocchi, venerdì pesce, sabato trippa (Thursday dumplings, Friday fish, Saturday tripe), a maxim rooted in the Trastevere quarter in Rome.
The original gnocchi recipe called for water, flour, and lots of potatoes. And here at Arco Cafe we make them from scratch.
Just like these Gnocchi alla Montanara: the italian comfort food from the mountainous regions, that combines the crunchiness of the pancetta and the freshness of mushrooms with a creamy sauce.

To get to the location on Amsterdam Avenue in New York, you can take the subway and get off at the 96th Street Station. From there, walk west towards Amsterdam Avenue and turn left. The destination will be on your right.
If you prefer to drive, take the West Side Highway and exit at 96th Street. Turn left onto 96th Street and then turn right onto Amsterdam Avenue. There is street parking available but it may be limited. Alternatively, there are several parking garages in the area for a fee.
