WE ARE THROWING A FREE COMMUNITY DINNER FOR THE PUBLIC.
This Friday, we gather again.
Join us for a special community dinner, in honor of Hind Rajab.... a 6-year-old Palestinian girl whose story touched hearts across the world.
This night is about more than dinner. Itโs about showing up for one another. About community, compassion, conversation, and remembering our shared humanity in a city that can sometimes make us forget it.
Whether you come with friends, family, or alone, there will always be a seat waiting for you at our table.

To every student graduating this month, congratulations.
People see the cap and gown, the photos, the celebration. But they donโt see the nights you questioned yourself. The moments you felt behind. The pressure of carrying expectations while still trying to figure out who you even are.
College is a lot like life itself. You enter it young, uncertain, and carrying pieces of yourself you donโt yet understand. Along the way, some people walk with you forever, and some are only meant to teach you a lesson before they disappear. There were semesters that felt light, and others that felt like survival.
And graduation? Graduation is not just relief from exams and deadlines. Itโs the feeling of finally coming up for air after holding your breath for years. Like a traveler crossing a desert, exhausted and sunburnt, finally seeing water in the distance. Not because the journey is over, but because they now realize they were always stronger than they thought.
This degree is more than paper. Itโs proof that even when life felt heavy, you kept walking.
And through all of it, never forget to be thankful. Because somewhere in the world, someone wishes they could wear that gown. Someone wishes they had the chance to sit in a classroom, to open a textbook, to chase an education instead of worrying about survival. What became normal to you is still someone elseโs prayer.
May your next chapter bring you peace, purpose, and people who love you for who you are becoming. And may you never forget that some of the most beautiful beginnings come disguised as endings. ๐
To the graduating class of 2026,
with respect and admiration,
elenani

They saw a headline. We see a childโs name representing the millions of children oppressed world wide .
A place named in memory of a 5 year old child killed in a genocide with 350+ bullets and somehow the outrage is directed at the restaurant instead of the loss itself.
"The sheer volume of victimhood is so thick you could choke on it." -Abier khatib
We will keep cooking with dignity.
We will keep honoring memory.
We will keep telling the truth through food.
Endless peace and love,elenani
