Greek Chicken Wraps with Garlic Sauce
Ingredients:
1 Β½ lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp paprika
Β½ tsp cumin
Β½ tsp salt
Β½ tsp black pepper
4 large pita or flatbreads
1 cup lettuce, shredded
1 cup cucumber, diced
1 cup tomato, diced
Β½ cup red onion, thinly sliced
Β½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
Garlic Sauce:
Β½ cup Greek yogurt
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt & pepper, to taste
Directions:
In a bowl, whisk olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and marinate at least 30 minutes.
Grill or pan-sear chicken over medium-high heat until fully cooked (internal temp 165Β°F). Slice into strips.
In a small bowl, mix yogurt, mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper for the garlic sauce.
Warm pita or flatbreads, then fill with chicken, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, red onion, and feta.
Drizzle with garlic sauce, fold, and serve immediately.
