We are thrilled to welcome back to Pangea with his solo piece Old Fashioned Love Story on Sunday April 12 @ 7pm.
He’s a talented actor, writer and filmmaker that should be on everyone’s radar.
Marching into April with a renewed sense of duty. In these perilous times, my only option is optimism. I am an active member of the human race, therefore the choice to be cynical is one of defeat. Here I am, a fool who has found an artist’s path in a land of commerce. I’ve found riches no one can touch, and for that, I will smile all my days.

Thanks to everyone who came out for the NYC premiere of Songs of Juana Borrero, on August 6, at It was truly a wonderful time and an honor to be part of their Incubator Festival. I hope this song cycle raises more awareness of Juana Borrero, a nearly forgotten but powerful female voice. Because of her I started my composing journey and it’s my hope many more people will come to relate to her and keep her memory and her spirit alive. Thanks to for the photos. Thanks to pianist and cellist for their wonderful playing that night

Sometime in early Fall 2023, Morgan Jenness, beloved dramaturg, teacher and confidant to countless theater students as well as practicing theater artists of all ages, skills & virtuosity, spoke to me:
“I want to sing and perform an evening-length Cabaret at Pangea Restaurant on August 23rd my birthday, and Nicky, you will help me.” Morgan’s birthday came and went, and then she died an untimely death on November 12, 2024. I vowed both to myself and to Morgan’s vibrant, ebullient spirit that I would perform an evening in her honor on her upcoming birthday, this very night on Saturday August 23, 2025 here at Pangea, of course. Many thanks to both Stephen & Arnoldo of Pangea for offering me this opportunity, and to my very special guests who join me to honor Morgan this evening.

What people say
Italian restaurants are known for their delicious food and cozy ambiance, and Pangea on 2nd Avenue in New York City is no exception. This Italian restaurant offers seasonal cuisine that will make your taste buds dance with joy. But Pangea is not just about the food; it's also a cabaret venue that hosts some of the most entertaining shows in town.
One of the most popular shows at Pangea is "The Beardonna Parody Pride Show," which celebrates 10 years of this hilarious parody bear extraordinaire. The show features DJ John Martin, comedy, games, prizes, and adult spin on favorite songs that you've never heard before. It's a show you won't want to miss!
Another must-see show at Pangea is "The Abduction(s) of Sherry Duvall-Covington." This strange journey of enlightenment set against the music of artists ranging from Moby to Madonna is written by .whitney & me and directed by .whitney. The show takes audiences on an epic journey from coast to coast and beyond the far reaches of our universe.
Pangea also supports International Women's Day by hosting one-woman shows like the upcoming March 24th feature on Bob Krasner's wonderful preview. With its cozy ambiance, delicious food, and entertaining shows, Pangea is a must-visit Italian restaurant in East Village that will make you feel good inside out.
