today is 17 years that Laura's Cupcake Shack officially became a legit business!! it was a hot day, i pushedddd the stroller to the court buildings and had to look thru thousandsssss of roladex cards to
see if any other business had my name.. after filing all paperwork and licenses, i officially became an entrepreneur!!(jk, inside joke between my girlies on how we are so busy entrepreneuring Margie De Marco Mieles Kim Cooks Amanda Anderson) i never dreamt that 17 years later cakes would be an overtime fulltime business, but most importantly to me, my clients became friends who have become family.. i have watched your kids grow, saw all their milestones, and have gone from communion, to wedding to even their babies cakes now... you have noooo idea what a privelege this is for me.. as busy and crazy and hectic as my life is between both businesses, and family, i cannot tell u how much loveeee i have for u guys and that u GET ME. lol. thank u all again soooo much for holding it down thru the market crash, hurricane sandy, covid and every other chaos in between.. shout out to stinky santos from aunt butchies who pushed me to make my passion into a reality. without him i wouldnt have a reason to live... he is the reason i have a this career, (he forced me to work for him i had no choice lol) and he is the reason why we have lil ant.. i am forever grateful for that man.. some hero's wear capes, my hero wears a bakers hat... again, thank u everyone for an incredible 17 years!! we have manyyyy more to go!

To get to Great Kills by public transport, take the Staten Island Railway to the Great Kills station. From there, walk northwest on Giffords Lane until you reach Amboy Road. Then turn right and continue until you reach the intersection of Amboy Rd and Hylan Blvd, where you will find the Cupcake Shop.

If driving, take Hylan Blvd southbound and turn right onto Amboy Rd. The Cupcake Shop will be on your left-hand side before the intersection with Giffords Lane. Parking is available along the street or in nearby parking lots.
