It’s been extremely busy this week as wedding season iss officially open. This AI image honestly depicts exactly what I’ve been doing since I got back on Monday. I actually had to cut my trip short for this particular consultation on Tuesday with just a few days to prepare desiogns and cake tasters, as the bride and groom do not live in the UK and were jetting back today with little time to spare. They are getting married in Kent in June 2027.
It was truly a lovely experience meeting them and bringing their vision to life. The consultation went amazingly well, and to top it all off, I even learnt a little Japanese in the process lol as the bride is Japanese. its rare seeing a bl;ackman speak fluent Japanese I was gobsmacked. FR FR FR!
Moments like these remind me why I love what I do. Meeting people from different cultures, hearing their stories, designing luxury cakes for one of the most important days of their lives… it’s more than just selling a cake. It’s an experience.
