A Message to Our Valued Guests
After many wonderful years, we are announcing the closing of Ohana Japanese Hibachi Restaurant. This decision did not come lightly, but as the saying goes, it is a sign of the times and a moment to move forward.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to all of our loyal customers who shared meals, celebrations, and memories with us. Your support has meant the world and made Ohana a true family.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated employees, whose hard work, talent, and commitment brought warmth and energy to every table. None of this would have been possible without them.
Though this chapter is coming to a close, we will always treasure the community, laughter, and connections built here at Ohana. Thank you for being a part of our story.

It's official Ohana will reopen on Valentine's Day, Sunday February 14th. Doors open at noon with 25% indoor capacity and the overflow can be seated in our outdoor heated tent. Please be advised that Ohana is currently following the NY State mandated Covid restrictions and will operate under the guidelines as follows;
Take out service only will be available
Wednesday through Sunday
12-10 until the indoor dining restrictions are lifted
Please call us at 718 885-0700 to place your orders for pick up.

To get to City Island Avenue in the Bronx, one can take the Bx29 bus which stops at City Island Avenue and Fordham Street or the Bx12/12-SBS bus which stops at Pelham Bay Park subway station. From there, it's a short walk to City Island Avenue.
If driving, take I-95 North to Exit 8B for Orchard Beach/City Island. This will lead onto City Island Road which becomes City Island Avenue.
Parking can be found on the street or in nearby parking lots. Please be mindful of any parking restrictions or regulations in the area.
