Otaku Katsu was a fast-casual tonkatsu restaurant situated in the vibrant Lower East Side on Rivington Street. The restaurant offered Japanese comfort food which included their famous Grazing Goat, Otaku Katsu family's speciality Tonkatsu dishes, and handmade Gyoza with wings. They also announced the opening of their new venture, Show Me Pizza, on their social media page. Unfortunately, Otaku Katsu had to shut down permanently on October 6th, 2020. Despite the challenges they faced from multiple complaints and visits from Department of Buildings and police officers, they continued to serve delicious food and remained grateful for the support from customers.

To get to Rivington Street in New York via public transport, take the subway to the East Broadway station. From there, walk southeast towards Essex Street and turn left onto Rivington Street. The restaurant will be a few blocks down on your right.
If driving, take the FDR Drive to the Houston Street exit. Turn right onto Essex Street and then right onto Rivington Street. There are various parking garages in the area for those looking to park their car.
