every day we see rhetoric seeking to dehumanize our community and states advancing bills targeting LGBTQ+ people; excluding transgender youth from athletics, implementing restrictions banning access to accurate identification, banning the word gay, limiting local protections, and allowing the use of religion to discriminate. It’s a time for us, when our existence and success couldn’t be more revolutionary. So gas yourself up, gas up your q***r friends, celebrate your community, and in the words of the infamous Yelp, “If You Gay, Perfect” Get touch touchy y’all and Happy Pride

a lil pic of Ursula and her Harley to celebrate Mother’s Day.
🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼🌼
And a reminder that motherhood and kinship comes in many forms outside of cis- and heteronormative structures and that we should celebrate everybody who is a mother to a child, or pet, or friend, or community member today. With so
many pieces of legislation going around today attacking the rights and liberties of the q***r and trans community, we forget that motherhood is relationship, a kinship and commitment unrelated to gender assignment, identity or sexual preference. And an extension of grace and love for anyone who has lost their mother or has a more complicated relationship to theirs.
