Small Axe is unique in so many ways. Supporting community gardens by buying peppers grown in those gardens and making hot sauce started as just an idea. The idea became a reality by working with friends who shared a belief in the concept and had skills necessary to bring it to market.
Every bottle we make contains not only peppers but lots of L O V E.. 🌶❤️
Just wanted to thank you all for your continued support. Remember, it all begins with seed. 📷:

What people say
Filipino cuisine is known for its bold flavors and unique combinations of ingredients, and Kuma Inn on Ludlow Street in New York City is no exception. Chef King Phojanakong has created a menu that seamlessly blends his Filipino, Thai, and NYC roots to create dishes that are both familiar and exciting.
One standout dish at Kuma Inn is the Tita Em's Adobo Chicken Wings. These wings are marinated in a tangy adobo sauce before being fried to crispy perfection. Another must-try dish is the Lechon Kawali, which features succulent pork belly that has been boiled then deep-fried until crispy.
Seafood lovers will appreciate the Pan Roasted Scallops with Bacon, Kalamansi & Sake. The scallops are perfectly cooked and paired with bacon for a salty contrast, while the kalamansi adds a bright citrus flavor.
For something more substantial, try the Rice Crepes Kuma Bolognese. This dish features delicate rice crepes filled with a hearty beef bolognese sauce that has been infused with Asian flavors.
Overall, Kuma Inn offers an unforgettable dining experience that showcases the best of Filipino cuisine while also incorporating other cultural influences. With its cozy atmosphere and delicious food, it's no wonder why this restaurant has been a favorite since its establishment in 2003.
