Cucú Petuniassss! It is fish Friday at Zee Spot and the filet of wild, local striped bass hand selected especially for you, is in the house! Sautéed with sweet tropea onions, datterini tomatoes, basil and a touch of Persian saffron, because delicious, is a morsel of heaven.
I just bought the basil and the spring garlic for the pesto which is coating the Fettuccine fatte in casa with wild florida shrimps and sweet datterini.
Agretti are back and you better be hungry

TOMATOES ARE BANGING!!!!!! Thank you Eckerton Hill Farm and i hope you will enjoy this nice thick tasty heirloom tomatoes with wild arugula, burrata and prosciutto for a gluten free super tasty treat.

Babycakess is doing PT and missing this little masterpiece, which was delicious to begin with, and now even better thanks to sweet Tropea onions, the queen of onions and originally from Calabria. Thank you Chris Field & Jessi Okamoto fresh sweet cherry tomatoes from Stoke’s nice eggplants and Nduja which makes it happy!

It is a very happy happy Monday at zee spot and perfect weather for these smoky Spaghettoni Carbonara with Squash Blossoms, what can I say? They hit in the most perfect of ways, saucy delicious and light at the same time. EW!

Happy Happy Happy Father’s Day to all the dads here and in heaven! Happy Fathers Day to my dad Francesco, I know I used this photo before and I will do it again because I love it so much and Happy Fathers Day to Babycakes the most doting and caring dad of dogs here with out first born Kiki. Happy Fathers Day to all the dads that are working today so families can celebrate and because they have to provide. Happy father’s Day to all the grandads and goddads and stepdads.

How lucky are we to have the one and only Babycakes taste testing today’s Tonnarelli alla Gricia with most divine fava beans from Vincenzo and crispy guanciale and artichokes because some times the stars are aligned and all manners of deliciousness are available. Plus fave and pecorino = match made in heaven

Happy Happy Happy Saturday to all my adorably delicious and badass little Pet Mia’s near and far. First and foremost GO KNICKS 🧡🧡💙💙. Not that anybody care but in my heart they already won for the most love, the most fun, the most humble and determined team with zero ego. Thank you for making it happen. Babycakes has to go to the gym so he is taste testing before I pull the meat and finish the magic.
