I almost forgot to post today’s pasta because i am cleaning puntarelle and hella forgetful. So here it is, our homemade Pappardelel with mushrooms, Sakura tomatoes and Cream of Parmigiano. Also a new chicken breast that I will eventually post.

It is meat Tuesday at Zee Spot and look at this spicy meaty Tonnarelli inspired by the Calabrian Sauce “alla Lupara” prepared with Nduja we just bought in DA Bronx, sweet Dolcyto tomatoes and a touch of cream and topped with crispy Nduja spicyyyyyy

It smells so so so good. What a classic that never goes out of style and it is here for your Monday’s delight or something or nothing. You could also have it in a plant based version with sun dried tomatoes instead of sausage.

Happy Thursday to all my Petunias and sunshines and angels keeping the magic alive out there.
It is Thursday and so Giovedi Gnocchi is full on with this very iffy looking German Butterball Potatoes Gnocchi alla Gricia with Artichokes, crispy italian guanciale, pecorino, black peppers and artichokes for extra magic.
The Puntarelle are always super magic and so is the parmigiano crusted Chicken Francese with buttermilk mashed potatoes.
So come one come all to Zee Spot because we miss you and we are celebrating Friday’s Eve, meh food and mega FA LA LA

Good morning Petunias and sunshines, just a little tease of today’s meat Tuesday special: a rivisited Amatriciana in a weather appropriate version, crispy guanciale, dolcyto tomatoes, a touch of our magical tomato sauce with our bitey tonnarelli prepared right here, with our hands. What can I say? Meh!
And a new chicken entry and a new burrata entry because I am inspired and hungry.

Petuniassssss happy extra day to recuperate and I am not posting today’s vermicelli artigianali pastificio setaro with both zucchine romanesche and sweet yellow zucchine that I pillaged when they were just delivered from the farm on Saturday at “Norwich Meadows” but I am posting this very favorite chicken breast with sweet dolcyto tomatoes (from “Camporosso”) capers olives and Sicilian oregano because comeonnnnnnn. Terrible
Come one come all to Zee Spot to celebrate that we are alive and hungry and always thankful. Extra FA LA LA because yes.

Okay my little Petunias the weather sucks, are we going to le it tell us what to do? No! We are going out, here or anywhere else, and we are going to have a banging afternoon and evening because we are not waiting this extra Saturday and we get to rest tomorrow.
