For the past 9 years, our team has participated in Bike MS NYC, and we’re hopping back on our bikes this Sunday to ride to fight MS. Over the years, we’ve had over 275 riders and we’ve donated over $548,730 to date. ✨ Staff spotlight! ✨ Miss Emma hails from Virginia, and was part of our opening team on the Upper East Side (two years ago!). She has worked her way up from a server, to a trainer, bartender, and now also manager. She has a knack for turning new guests into regulars who can’t help but keep coming back, with her warmth and hospitality. Outside of Crave, she loves to read and crochet, and is as sweet as pie. Come say hi to Emma the next time you’re at our UES location!

The Ride With Me is back at Crave Fishbar, just in time for this year’s Bike MS on October 18! Thai chili-infused tequila, fresh lime juice, grapefruit & kaffir lime leaf agave, and 100% of proceeds go to benefit the National MS Society.
Multiple Sclerosis is very personal for us at Crave Fishbar; our co-founder Brian Owens’ sister has been battling the disease for over 15 years and is now in a wheelchair. For the past 9 years, our team has participated in Bike MS, with over 275 riders and over $548,730 donated to date. Brunch should be fun! And ours is, every Saturday and Sunday from 12-3:30, with our Spritz Blitz 🍹 order any brunchy thing, appetizer or lunchy thing from our brunch menu, and add on 90 minutes of unlimited spritzes for just $27. This is what weekends were made for.

Another year of the Billion Oyster Project Party in the books! It’s always our favorite event of the year, and we love being able to connect with all of the passionate oyster farmers who fly in for the party. While we didn’t win the shucking contest this year, we wish a huge congratulations to Lars Viola Crew and we’ll be back again next year to try to retake the trophy 😏 we’re so proud to be supporters of Billion Oyster Project, and already counting down the days until next year’s party!

We’re back in the kitchen with Chef Todd for National Lobster Day, making one of our classics since day one: our Thai Lobster Curry with chu-chee curry, charred red onion, Japanese eggplant, Thai apple eggplant & fresh bamboo shoots. This dish is so beloved, we had to bring it over to the Crave Sushi Bar menu, too! There’s no better way to celebrate National Lobster Day, if you ask us! 🦞

Three years ago this Climate Week, our founder Brian Owens was invited to Governors Island to meet Prince William and share what it looks like when restaurants become part of the solution. 🦪
The Prince had plenty of questions: how we separate shells in our kitchens, what sustainable seafood really means, and whether our guests care. (They do. When we opened, only a handful of restaurants were talking about sustainability. Today guests expect it.) He admitted he doesn’t eat oysters, so the invitation to change his mind at Crave still stands. 😉
This year we’re marking 10 years of partnership with Billion Oyster Project, where Brian now proudly serves on the Board of Directors. Our restaurants alone have recycled 4,956,000 oyster shells back into New York Harbor. ♻️
Every shell becomes home for new oysters, which filter up to 50 gallons of water a day, build reef habitat for hundreds of species, and help protect NYC’s shoreline from storms. And every fish on our menu is sourced with guidance from our friends at Seafood Watch.
So when you order a dozen at Crave Fishbar, you’re helping restore the harbor, one shell at a time. 💙
