For more than 30 years, Doughnut Plant has created originals by reimagining classic flavors and desserts, working with seasonal ingredients, and finding new ways to shape, fill, glaze, and finish a doughnut.
This fall, we’re celebrating the originals that brought us here and looking ahead to the next 30+ years of originals.
The celebration starts with The Originals Collection, alongside Apple Cinnamon, Buttered Pecan and Manhattan Cream specials, Spiced Apple C***r, and the return of Tiramisu.
Six Doughnut Plant signatures from across the years come together in The Originals Collection.

🍫🍩 Brooklyn Blackout is our tribute to Brooklyn’s Ebinger’s Bakery: rich chocolate cake dipped in Valrhona chocolate, filled with chocolate pudding and finished with chocolate cake crumbs.
🥛🍩 Tres Leches reimagines the sweet taste of traditional Mexican tres leches cake as one of our cake doughnuts.
One of the signatures at the heart of our story.
🍮🍩 The Original Crème Brûlée Doughnut is filled with our vanilla bean custard, then individually torched to caramelize the sugar topping. Break through the brûléed shell for the crunch that gives way to the custard inside.
Real ingredients are what define both of these originals.
🫐🍩 Wild Blueberry is full of Maine wild blueberries, incorporated into both the dough and the glaze.
🥥🍩 For Coconut Cream, we break open fresh coconuts daily to make the fresh coconut milk cream filling and coconut glaze.
☕️🍩 Tiramisu returns this fall, both in The Originals Collection and on the menu on its own. An espresso cake doughnut topped with mascarpone Chantilly and finished with a dusting of Valrhona cocoa.
