Come try our new Chinese Veggie Fried Rice!
At East Wind, we want to encourage all to come out and eat. We love clicking our phones and having food brought to you, but how about having food made fresh to order to eat on the spot? Connecting with your community? Saving some money vs all those delivery fees?
We are offering several dishes that are available only for dine in. This is one of them. Soft fluffy rice, sautéed with onions, garlic and Chinese veggies topped with fried shallots, scallions and a ginger scallion dressing.
There's more specials to come. Also free giveaways like East Wind T shirts, hats, tote bags and even signed copies of our book, "Damn Good Chinese Food"!
Also, come in, eat, and tell your server you skipped Doordash today and we will give you 20% off your bill.
The weather is nice and for now, this is available at our 417 7th Ave location in Park Slope.
Thanks,
The East Wind Family

What people say
Chinese restaurants are known for their delicious and diverse cuisine, and East Wind Snack Shop on 16th Street in New York is no exception. This chef-driven restaurant specializes in hand-made dumplings that are made from scratch every day and cooked to order. The inspiration for the restaurant comes from old-school Chinatown tea houses, and the result is damn good Chinese food.
East Wind Snack Shop has been cooking up a storm in Brooklyn since 2014, and now boasts four locations. Their menu features a variety of dishes, but their dumplings are the star of the show. Whether you prefer pork, chicken, or vegetable fillings, they have something for everyone.
The restaurant has received numerous accolades over the years, including being named Best Chinese Restaurant. Their crispy Spring Rolls are perfect for celebrating the arrival of spring, while their egg rolls have been featured on Epicurious. The chef has even appeared on popular TV shows like Beat Bobby Flay and No Reservations with Anthony Bourdain.
At East Wind Snack Shop, you can enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine without any added MSG. They take pride in using fresh ingredients and cooking everything to order. So if you're looking for some damn good Chinese food in New York City, head over to East Wind Snack Shop on 16th Street.
