🥩 Meat your new favorite cocktail. 🥃
Introducing the A5, a bold, savory twist on the classic Sazerac, now serving at HALL.
Born from a collaboration between Chef Hiroki Odo and lead bartender Harry Kaufman, this drink has a slightly more culinary approach. We’ve taken the rich, umami essence of A5 Wagyu and used it to fat-wash our whisky, creating a texture and flavor profile that is big, bold, and unforgettable.
To balance that savory depth, we blend it with: ✨ Cognac – Light, fruity, and refined. 🌿 Artichoke Amaro – Adding an earthy, complex layer. 🍬 Kokuto Sugar – A whisper of Japanese black sugar for a hint of sweetness. 🍷 Peychaud’s Bitters – For that classic Sazerac flavor.

This is our hello.
Consider this our official welcome to HALL (or your first chapter before dinner at Odo). Modeled after the classic French 75, we designed this to be the ultimate evening-starter: crisp, refreshing, and approachable.
We use a lower-proof Shiso-infused Iichiko Shochu to keep things light, bringing out savory notes and hints of green apple. Seasonal fruit takes the lead—right now, pomegranate—balanced with fresh lemon, layered with gentle juniper for structure and lift, and finished with dry sparkling wine for a crisp, refreshing finish.
Flavorful without being demanding. Playful without being loud.
The kind of cocktail that says, stay a little longer.

HALL’s new cocktail: Cliché
Is it a cliché to offer an Old Fashioned? Perhaps. But at HALL, sometimes the most familiar paths lead to the most profound discoveries. 🥃✨
Named after the evocative track from our Ryuichi Sakamoto-curated playlist, the Cliche is as much a drink as a composition. We’ve stripped away the predictable and replaced it with a deliberate study in balance.
Its foundation is the unusual American Single Malt—a spirit that possesses the soul of a Japanese whisky but the warmth of a bourbon. Rather than the usual sugar or syrup, we introduce depth through whispers of velvet creme de banane and the dry elegance of a hidden fortified wine. It is a “Sherry finish” achieved through craft, not just a barrel.
It is familiar, yet entirely unrecognizable.
The Perfect Pairing? 🍔 Best enjoyed alongside the HALL Burger. Some pairings are legendary for a reason—and that is a cliché we are proud to uphold.

Espresso Melange
Couldn’t decide between an Espresso Martini, a Carajillo, or an Irish Coffee? We decided the best way to honor the world’s great coffee cocktails was to let them converge into one. ☕️🍸
The Espresso Melange is our love letter to the art of the pick-me-up. We’ve moved past the standard vodka-and-coffee formula, opting instead for the refined elegance of Japanese malt.
It provides the clean, toasted backbone of an Irish coffee, but also respects the tradition of an Espresso Martini. To this, we add the popular vanilla liqueur from the Carajillo and a whisper of warm cardamom that creates a lingering finish.
The Mechanical Soul: The heart of this drink is pulled from an espresso machine so rare that it’s one of only two in all of New York City. The pressure, the crema, and the temperature are dialed in to a scientific degree, ensuring the coffee doesn’t just flavor the drink—it defines it.
It’s your caffeine fix, reimagined through a lens of Japanese precision and global soul.
