Hello everyone. It is with much deliberation that we are announcing Kave is closed. After 13 years in business we are taking our lives in a new direction and turning the reins over to a new owner. Thank you all so much for your support and love of coffee and our space. Many of you have chosen Kave as your place of work or daily reprieve from the daily grind (no pun intended).
We were the hip place that you had to find or hear about and we love you for that. You helped us thrive and learn along the way about people, small business, community and of course.....coffee.
We've had many encounters with so many special people including all the artists, entrepreneurs, celebrities and celebrations that will be remembered with gratitude. The good news is there will surely be a new owner and operator to come in and bring the space a fresh energy and we are doing our best to facilitate that. If you know anyone who is interested now is the time, they can email kavebrooklyn (at) gmail (dot) com for details.
Thank you deeply to all our customers, incredible baristas, vendors (shout out to Unique Coffee Roasters who we have served proudly for years), the Loom and all our neighbors.
A word on our baristas: we have had hundreds if not thousands over the years and learned from them as much as they have learned from us. They were the heartbeat of Kave daily. Our final lineup of Cosmos, Brianna and Khanh are exceptional people. I am not sure where they are headed but if you are a cafe owner in the area looking for amazing talent, please email us and I will make the connection.
Kave has been a major influence in our lives and now it's time to move forward to a new chapter.
Happy 4th of July,
Evan and Reka

While we regularly celebrate the work of emergency services personnel, we don’t tend to spend as much time thinking about the hard work of baristas! Many people, however, rely on their baristas to make their morning cup of coffee, setting the tone for the rest of the day. Without their morning cup...
