Join us at Kisa for a special late-night kimchi-making class with bites + flowing makgeolli.
On May 30, from 11pm–1am, we’re hosting a fun hands-on class where you’ll learn the art of making kimchi over kimjang-style bites and makgeolli pours. At the end of the night, you’ll take home one jar of kimchi for yourself and donate another through , which delivers the jars to displaced Korean immigrant elders at Nanoom House in Flushing, along with hand-written notes and weekly groceries.

Tickets go live on Resy at midnight tonight, link in bio.

Kisa on Allen Street is a delightful destination for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine. The restaurant's atmosphere is both retro and inviting, featuring vintage televisions and charming coin-slot coffee machines that transport diners to a different era.
The menu boasts an array of mouthwatering dishes that highlight the rich flavors of Korean home cooking. The Gochujang-marinated Spicy Pork stands out with its juicy texture and savory kick, making it a must-try for spice lovers. For those seeking comfort food, the Chicken Bone Soup offers deep, soothing flavors crafted from slow-simmered bones—perfect for warming the soul.
Adventurous eaters will appreciate the opportunity to dive into Gamjatang, a traditional soup experience that invites you to enjoy your meal in a uniquely immersive way. Meanwhile, the Spicy Squid combines gochujang with tender squid, carrots, and scallions for a perfect bite of heat and zest.
No meal at Kisa would be complete without indulging in their banchan sides, which add layers of taste and texture to every dish. The Bori Bibimbap presents a colorful mix of crispy veggies, savory barley rice, and tangy kimchi—a vibrant celebration of flavors on one plate.
Lastly, don’t miss out on the Bulgogi; marinated in rich soy sauce and stir-fried to perfection, it embodies the essence of classic Korean fare. Kisa promises not just a meal but an unforgettable dining experience filled with good vibes and delicious food!
