Are you a French press person? Here’s how we make it at home. 🇫🇷☕️

What you need:
French press
Measuring cup and tablespoon
Kettle
Grinder
Your favorite Birch coffee

Step 1: Set your grinder to coarse. It should look like thick sea salt.

Step 2: The ratio is 2 tablespoons of coffee per 8 oz of water. 2-cup press? 4 heaping tablespoons. 4-cup? 8. 8-cup? 16.

Step 3: Bring your water to a boil, then let it cool for 30 seconds. Add your coffee to the press, then pour in just enough water to let it bloom for 45 seconds. Stir gently. Pour in the rest of the water, stir again, and set the plunger on top of the grounds. Don’t plunge yet — let it steep for 4 minutes.

Step 4: Plunge slowly.

Step 5: Pour into your favorite mug and enjoy.

Save this for your next brew day ☕ Grab a bag through the link in bio.
