What a week. After a couple of slower months, we got hit with a gut punch; our basement flooded with last Thursday’s downpour, ruining food, alcohol, and equipment and forcing us to close for four days (including a weekend 😭). In other words, thousands of dollars literally washed away.
Over the last six days, our crew has rolled up their sleeves, hauling, scrubbing, bleaching, and drinking some grimy bottles of wine in the process. Now we’re back and ready to feed you! 🍾
Come celebrate our reopening with us this week (call it a belated one-year birthday, we survived! 🥂) Bring friends, have a drink, share some pasta (or get nostalgic with our chicken and fries), and help us keep doing what we love, serving and hanging out with our neighbors. We’re not asking for donations, we just want to see all your faces — and please share with friends, the more the merrier 🍗
See you soon.
Love the Daphne’s crew ❤️
