Tasty Bagels was a beloved bagel shop, deli, and fast food restaurant located on 86th Street. The family-owned establishment had been serving the Bensonhurst and neighboring communities since 1983, offering its original "Big Wheel Bagel" along with a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. However, after almost 40 years in business and several name changes (including Tasty Chicken, Tasty Pasta & Pizza, and Andiamo Ristorante), Tasty Bagels announced in March 2023 that they would be retiring the "TASTY" name for good. The owners expressed their gratitude to all of their customers-turned-friends-turned-family over the years but ultimately decided it was time to close up shop. The last bagel was served on April 2nd of that year. Although no longer open, Tasty Bagels will always be remembered fondly by those who frequented it for decades.
