Dear Friends - I hope this finds you well, happy and healthy during these strange times. I miss seeing you all at the restaurant and look forward to reconnecting again soon. My former Chef, Edgar Navarrete - who you may remember - and myself are working together again at his and Nando Ghorchian's (Caffe Buon Gusto) new Mediterranean restaurant on the upper east side. We have many of the dishes you remember and love - Coq Au Vin, Beef Bourguignon and French Onion Soup - as well as new modern takes on dishes from all over the Mediterranean. Bonjour! We will respond to everyone individually soon -- we are sorry to have left it for so long; it's just we have been caught up in the aftermath of the closing. Dear everyone,
It is with great regret that we have to tell you we have to unexpectedly & permanently close our doors after a wonderful 35 Years. Our last day will be this Friday, September 25.
Harold will be playing us out.... we are still raising money for No Kid Hungry.... & things will be a normal as possible for these last few days.... We would love to see you!
Thank you for a lifetime & a family. We love you all.
P.S. We will keep the Facebook & Twitter up for a short time, so you may download any pictures you would like for your memory books.

It's a Monday Jazz Night Trio!!! (which you know we never do! ) 7-10pm with Tony Middleton, Joe Alterman & Nathaniel Schroeder!!! After an impromptu Thursday night, rave reviews (& a kind regular sponsoring the extra costs) ... we honored to treat you tonight....(& as always, no cover)... Even if you have seen the Duos before, the Trio really is a different feel...
So let's start your week off like it's a weekend,... enjoy some delish food, listen to some fab music in an intimate setting & help us raise money to end child hunger... all & all a pretty awesome night! See you there! :)

Feeling light today? :) So are we.... hence our enticement with our Fruits de Mer ~ angel hair pasta, mussels, shrimp and salmon in a white wine clam sauce. :) Simple, elegant, flavorful!
Add in a little "Oh la la!" & this evening a serenade from Harold... & it will be the French Riviera..... Ahhh.... lucky us! À tout à l'heure!

Good Morning! Happy Monday! Let's liven things up a bit today by doing something new!
One idea ~ check out new on-the-scene, talent Benjamin Rice who plays Jazz piano from 7-10pm tonight. He brings a San Francisco influence to his East Coast style Jazz. (See Event for Bio.)
Thank you to everyone who helped us kick off our "Dine Out ~ No Kid Hungry" Fundraiser this weekend! We had a lot of fun! & are looking forward to more! Don't worry, if couldn't make it; you haven't missed out! We will be donating (based on your dinner purchases) through Sunday, September 27. :) Let's keep this going! :)

It's Saturday! Our "September Jazz" has started! Our neighborhood is returning from Summering! We start our Dine Out ~ No Kid Hungry* Fundraiser tonight!! & Wonderful meals are always "on the menu"! ;)
A Daily Special Highlight from this week is our Skate Fish, Pan Seared & in a Lemon Caper Sauce, served with julienne vegetables and chive mashed potatoes. Too tasty to describe! We can't wait to see what our Chef presents tonight!!! :)
