✨Sterling Affair was honored to cater the opening of “The Declaration of Independence: Long Trail to Liberty”, a powerful exhibition commemorating the 250th anniversary of the United States of America at Grey Art Museum in NYC.
📜 Featuring an original printing of the Declaration of Independence alongside more than 100 historical items (documents, maps, etc), the exhibition traces the growing tensions between the British government and the colonies in the years leading to the Revolutionary War.
🪈 🥁 Guests were welcomed with live colonial-era music before enjoying passed hors d’oeuvres, a beautifully styled two-tier charcuterie display, and an elegant selection of sweet bites curated by Sterling Affair. 🍮
It was truly an unforgettable exhibit and evening where food, history, and atmosphere came together in celebration of America’s enduring story. 🇺🇸

✨Sterling Affair had the pleasure in catering The Hoboken Catholic Academy’s annual Spring Soirée & Silent Auction, an unforgettable evening celebrating community, generosity, and tradition.
🍸Guests were welcomed with a curated selection of passed hors d’oeuvres, followed by a full-service bar featuring our signature Spicy Margarita, a crowd favorite. The culinary experience continued with two thoughtfully designed food stations, offering a dynamic and flavorful dining experience throughout the night.
🍨 To end on a sweet note, we presented a decadent dessert station showcasing three unique tiramisu creations, complete with all the perfect accompaniments.

✨Two floors. Endless pours. One all-day party.
Sterling Affair was proud to be part of “Cultivating Craft 2026” with at the in NYC, an industry gathering built for bar managers, sommeliers, bottle-shop owners, and craft beverage innovators to connect, discover, and taste what’s next. 🍺🥃
From the afternoon showcase through the evening event, the energy never slowed down. Guests explored fresh-hopped IPAs, barrel-aged stouts, hard teas, zero-proof spritzes, tequila, vodka, and more while our team kept the food stations fully stocked and constantly replenished throughout the day. Jumbo pretzels, Pretzel Burgers layered with fontina cheese, hot dogs with all the fixings and plenty of repeat trips from vendors and guests alike. 😉

Today, we’re reflecting on the power of thoughtful sourcing, meaningful partnerships, and full-circle sustainability. 💫
From harvesting fresh produce in the garden 🥕of a private residence in Damascus, PA used the very same day to celebrate a beautiful 50th Anniversary to continuing our partnership with , every step matters.
Together, we’ve diverted 18,762 lbs. of food waste from landfills—transforming it into nutrient-rich compost that supports local farms 🌱 and urban growing spaces. That impact has already helped plant 123 seedlings 🌳 , while also offsetting 18,612 miles of landfill travel and saving 844 gallons of gas.

Hosted with the event team from Columbia University, this special gathering brought event industry professionals together to experience the possibilities of event design and this iconic space.
Sterling Affair crafted a vibrant Moroccan-inspired menu, decadent sweets, and our signature Moroccan Sidecar Cocktail 🍸🍊
🍽️ Beautifully styled tablescapes by Broadway Party Rentals showcased settings for a variety of occasions, while Franz James Floral completed each look with exquisite, theme-inspired centerpieces 🌺
💫 An evening of collaboration, creativity, and inspiration, proving that when design, cuisine, and setting align, something truly memorable happens.

To get to Madison Avenue in New York, visitors can take public transportation by taking the subway to 59th St/Lexington Ave station using the N, Q, R or W train lines. They can also take the M1 or M2 bus and get off at Madison Ave/59th St stop. For those driving, they can enter Madison Avenue from either East or West via any of the cross-streets that intersect with Madison Avenue. There are parking garages around the area including Impark and Central Parking System. Note that parking in this area can be expensive and difficult to find during peak hours.
