Sam's Restaurant, Bar and Lounge is a welcoming Southern-style kitchen located in the Bronx. Owner Sam Amoah will point you to something tasty, but special dishes sell out fast so get there early. They also host events like $2 Tuesdays with $2 drink specials all night, Old School Thursdays with mature crowd only party from 6pm - 3am and $4 rum, vodka, gin, tequila and $5 Henny all night. Throwback Fridays with the legendary DJ Hollywood and Sophisticated Saturdays in the Red Zone with DJ Prince & DJ Mix Professor. Kitchen open all night till 4 am on Fridays and Saturdays. Karaoke on the upper level on Saturdays as well.

The wood-paneled bar and sofa-filled lounge create a welcoming atmosphere that attracts students from Hostos Community College and legal eagles from Bronx County offices during the day. The lunch platters are copious and highlight moist fried whiting, plump jerk chicken, and freshly smoked ribs. Owner Sam Amoah, a native of Ghana, is always happy to recommend something tasty.
One of the best things about Sam's is their $2 Tuesdays' EVERY TUESDAY drink specials all night long. They also have appetizer specials and their kitchen stays open all night for those late-night cravings. On Old School Thursdays', they have Three the Hard Way: DJ Dave Diggs, DJ Big Boi, & DJ Big Russ playing music for a mature crowd from 6 pm - 3 am with $4 RUM, VODKA, GIN, TEQUILA and $5 HENNY ALL NIGHT.
On Throw Back Fridays', they have the LEGENDARY DJ HOLLYWOOD and Three the Hard Way: DJ Dave Diggs, DJ Big Boi, & DJ Big Russ playing music while their kitchen stays open until 4 am.
