Barbalu Restaurant was an Italian restaurant and food delivery service located on Front Street, just a stone's throw from the South Street Seaport. Opened in early fall 2013, Barbalu was the result of the marriage between husband and wife team Stefano BARBAgallo and Adriana LUque. The couple demonstrated their commitment to the historic district by choosing to rebuild in the same location as their previous restaurant, which had been completely destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. Unfortunately, Barbalu Restaurant has been permanently closed.
