Fast food restaurants are known for their quick service and convenience, but Lekka Burger takes it to the next level by offering delicious and awesome plant-powered burgers. Located on Warren Street in New York, this fast food restaurant is not your typical burger joint. It is also a vegetarian and vegan restaurant, making it a great option for those who are health-conscious or have dietary restrictions.

Lekka Burger was founded by Chef Amanda Cohen of Dirt Can, who is known for her innovative approach to vegetarian cuisine. The menu at Lekka Burger features a variety of burgers made with plant-based ingredients that are both healthy and sustainable. From classic cheeseburgers to spicy black bean burgers, there is something for everyone at this fast food restaurant.

Sadly, Lekka Burger recently announced that they will be closing their doors due to the impact of COVID-19. However, during their last few days of service, they continued to spread kindness and compassion through the food choices they made. They donated 10% of all in-store sales to an organization that works to improve NYC's environment and sustainability.

Overall, Lekka Burger has left a positive impact on the fast food industry by offering delicious plant-based options that are good for both our bodies and the environment. Their commitment to sustainability and community involvement will be missed, but we can continue to support similar businesses in our local communities.
