Ethiopia Guji Yabitu Koba Washed 🇪🇹
Yabitu Koba sits at 2,316m in Uraga district, in Guji, one of the oldest coffee-growing areas in Ethiopia. Koba is the Oromiffa word for false banana, a banana relative grown for its starchy stem, which producers here intercrop with maize and native shade trees. This coffee was fermented 48 to 60 hours in cement tanks, then dried 7 to 8 days on raised beds.
We taste: Raspberry, key lime, hibiscus. 🍋🌺

What people say
Bean & Bean on 8th Avenue is a coffee shop that has gained popularity for all the right reasons. With its founder being a Harvard graduate, it's no surprise that even Harvard Business School drinks their coffee! The cafe's Coffee & Tea Club was co-founded by Jiyoon during her time at Harvard, and this passion for coffee is evident in every cup they serve.
Their Downtown Blend is a must-try, with beans sourced from three continents - Latin America, Africa, and Asia. This medium-dark roast blend has tasting notes of roasted nuts, cedar, and sweet herbs, making it perfect for espresso lovers.
Bean & Bean also supports small businesses and diversity in the culinary industry. They recently traveled to Dallas as one of 15 women-owned vendors to share their mission with renowned chefs and culinary leaders.
In addition to their regular menu items, they also offer seasonal drinks like their limited-time Lavender Latte. And if you're a coffee connoisseur looking for something unique, try their Panama Gesha coffee - one of the world's most lucrative coffees that requires unique cultivating conditions.
Overall, Bean & Bean is a great spot for coffee lovers looking for quality brews and supporting small businesses with a mission.
