It’s National Guacamole Day! 🥑 And this year it happens to fall right alongside ¡Día de la Independencia! 🇲🇽 We’re celebrating both the best way we know how: with a shared guac for the table.
Our Classic Guacacmole is a hand-mixture of avocado, cilantro, lime, onion, jalapeño, and a finish of cotija cheese. Simple ingredients, made fresh for every order.
Now let’s talk numbers:
→ El Vez uses 6 cases of avocados a day
→ 48 avocados per case
→ 363 days a year (we close just 2 days!)
→ That’s 104,544 avocados a year, all going into your guac
So tonight, raise a chip (or a marg 🍹) to the humble avocado, and to Mexico. ¡Salud!
