Cheena and I, went to check out some Guyanese Chinese cuisine last evening, at Hibiscus in Richmond Hill Queens. The array of dishes offered were pretty broad in range. Some were common and, a few not so common. (Peppered shrimp, General Tso chicken, chicken Lo mein). Flavor profiles were familiar but amped up in most cases with pepper sauce, and other various spices. We all had a roast duck dish and seafood bite appetizer (not pictured.) All in all, a very pleasurable outing with some great rum to wash it down.
