Grimm - Lambo Door
NY / 8.0% ABV / 16 oz Can
The brewers call it “gummy bear juice” and they mean it. Lambo Door is a Northeast-style Double IPA, meaning more hops, more flavor, and a soft hazy juiciness rather than sharp bitterness. Brewed with Citra, El Dorado, and Simcoe added twice after fermentation (double dry-hopped, or DDH) to maximize tropical aroma without extra bite, it delivers a pillowy mouthfeel and an explosive burst of fruit that makes 8% incredibly easy to sip.

Monday Beer Highlight 🍺
Dutchess Ales Tempel Altbier
NY / 5.2% ABV / 16 oz Can
Altbier is a traditional German style from Düsseldorf. Brewed with ale yeast and conditioned like a lager, it offers the smoothness of a lager with the richer malt character of an ale. Expect toasted malt, subtle spice, and a clean, balanced finish.
Tempel is brewed with rich malts and noble hops, bringing toasted malt, treacle and spice aromatics, nutty complexity, subtle plum and juniper notes, with balanced hop freshness.

A special Friday ahead at Fraunces Tavern as we begin St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
This Friday, our owners, Dervila Bowler and Eddie Travers, will be honored at Federal Hall at the Eighth Annual Alexander Hamilton Immigrant Achievement Award Ceremony, a meaningful recognition celebrating immigrant achievement, leadership, and lasting contributions to Lower Manhattan and New York City. As Irish immigrants and stewards of one of New York’s most historic gathering places, it is a particularly fitting moment to mark the build up to St Patrick’s Day.
Afterward, the celebration continues back at Fraunces Tavern with live music in the Independence Bar from 4–7pm. We hope our neighbors, patrons, and the wider Fraunces Tavern community can join us in celebrating the occasion.

Remember Mary Dowling this International Women’s Day.
Known as the “Mother of Bourbon,” Mary Dowling was born to Irish immigrant parents and married Irish distiller John Dowling. After his death in 1903, she took over the family’s distillery, becoming the first woman to run a major bourbon operation.
When Prohibition threatened her livelihood, she refused to give up the craft. With legal pressure mounting in the United States, Dowling moved her distillery operations to Mexico, continuing to produce whiskey while many others were forced to shut their doors.
Mary Dowling Winter Wheat Bourbon is a 91 proof wheated bourbon made with a mash bill of corn, winter wheat and malted barley, aged in toasted American oak barrels and known for its smooth finish with notes of caramel, honey and warm spice.
You’ll find Mary Dowling Whiskey behind The Whiskey Bar at Fraunces Tavern as we look ahead to St. Patrick’s Day ☘️
